Zimbabwe is appealing for foreign aid after floods affected many of the country’s provinces killing more than 240 people in three months.

Among the worst affected areas are south-western districts including Tsholotsho, where at least 859 people are living in a makeshift camp.

The meteorological department has warned of further heavy rains, cautioning people against crossing flooded rivers and bridges.

Zimbabwe which is hoping to recover from a severe drought is now facing more food shortages.
