Image result for Pence says U.S. will work with Japan for North Korea resolutionThe “era of strategic patience” is over! Those were the exact words of the United States Vice President to North Korea.

Mike Pence says the U.S. will work closely with Japan and its allies in aiming for a peaceful resolution to the reclusive state’s nuclear and missile ambitions.

Pence, who arrived in Tokyo this Tuesday, has warned the reclusive North, which has conducted series of missile launches and nuclear tests in defiance of U.N. sanctions.

He says “All options are on the table”.

Japanese Prime minister shinzo Abe during a meeting with Pence says he agreed with the need for a peaceful settlement, but “dialogue for the sake of dialogue is meaningless”.

North Korea regularly threatens to destroy Japan, South Korea and the United States and it showed no let-up in its defiance, after a failed missile test on Sunday.
