Brazil are champions of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup for a record fifth time after a 6-0

victory over Tahiti in the final in the Bahamas.

The South Americans needed just 14 seconds to open the scoring through Mauricinho.

Mauricinho then turned provider as he assisted Datinha, who finished from close range to double their lead.

Brazil extended their advantage midway as Mauricinho and Daniel secured a brace each.

It was the South Americans first final since 2011.

Iran defeated Italy 5-3 win in the third place play-off to become Asia’s highest ever finishers at the Beach Soccer World Cup.
