Image result for collapsed Michika bridgeThe Nigerian military has deployed it’s engineering personnel to Adamawa State to repair the collapsed Michika bridge.

The bridge that has cut Madagali and Michika from other local governments was recently destroyed by flood.

The development has thus made life unbearable to the people affected by the natural disaster.

Some of the NGOs rendering humanitarian services to the two local governments worst hit by the Boko Haram insurgency in Adamawa State have been threatened by the collapsed bridge.

The chairman of Madagali, Hon. Mohammed Yusuf lamented that four other bridges in his area were completely destroyed by Boko Haram militants, thereby making life difficult for returnees.

He however appealed to the Federal Government to assist his council in reconstructing the bridge.

While Michika residents expressed fear of being cut away from the state capital complained of their inability to ferry their goods to desired location.
