A communal clash has broken out in Gembu and other towns in Sardauna Local Government Area of Taraba State, according to reports.
Locals say the violence is between the Kakas and Fulani ethnic groups.
They say fighting started after some youth took to the streets destroying property and smashing vehicles.
We’re not sure of the number of deaths but there has been a curfew but a security source in the area confirmed the violence.
The people arrested are said to be suspects known to have been engineering unrest in the area.
Only last week, some Fulani herdsmen protested at the House of Assembly.
