Grassroots politicking is on the upbeat in Ekiti State as Governor Fayose meets two non-indigenous people resident in the state.

The Igede people from Benue State and the Ebiras from Kogi State came to the Government House, Ado Ekiti to pledge their support for Fayose’s 2018 continuity agenda.

The leaders of the two groups itemised the dividends of democracy their communities have enjoyed under the Fayose administration and promised to reciprocate with their votes for the People’s Democratic Party candidate in the 2018 Governorship Election.

Addressing the gathering, the Governor appreciated their loyalty and asked each group to bring a list of ten names for immediate employment and another list of 20 elderly citizens to be included among those the government pays five thousand naira monthly.
