The Nigerian government is set to partner with Manufacturers Association of Nigeria in a bit to chart a way out of the present difficulties facing the Nigerian economy.
Speaking at the 44th annual general meeting of the Manufactures Association of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari said the key to diversifying the economy lies in the Agriculture and Manufacturing Sectors.
The manufacturers on their part called on the government to redouble its efforts to diversify the economy to such sectors as agriculture and manufacturing, seeing this as the best option to boost Nigeria Economy.
They urged the FG to pursue with all vigour any effort to increase non- oil revenue through the strengthening of the manufacturing.
Series of made in Nigeria goods were on display at the venue of the meeting and Nigerians were urged to increase patronage of these local commodities in order to encourage Nigeria.
