TVC N. The World Health Organization, (WHO) has urge the federal government to implement laws
against violence on women and children in Nigeria.
According to research by WHO, violence against women worldwide is shockingly common and it’s one of the leading factors in female injury, death, and poor health worldwide.
With Nigeria topping the list in Africa, women in Nigeria have been advised to speak up against any form of violence; this was the thrust of discussion at a public lecture organized by the medical women association of Nigeria.
The speakers however, urged the federal government to implement existing laws on violence against women and children so that the havoc wrought by the menace will be reduced.
