Individuals and organisations are finding different ways to project the month and to raise awareness for
cancer.
TVC’s Kemi Balogun took part in the Abuja colour blast walk on Saturday and reports that unlike so many other activities put together to raise awareness for cancer the 5km walk came with a little twist.
It involved walking, running, biking, skating , and a whole lot of colour.
The event brought people from far and near who took part in the cause of raising awareness for cancer and also staying healthy while doing it.
Organizers of this event say it is a way to get people to come together to enjoy themselves and have fun while doing something for the good of all.
The event rounded off with more entertaining exercises at the millennium park.
