The three Senators representing Niger state in the National Assembly have raised alarm over the dilapidated state of major federal highways across the state which has resulted in traffic diversions and the grounding of
activities.
In a joint press briefing at the National Assembly complex, the senators called on the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola to urgently repair the Abuja to Minna and Minna to Bida federal highways where motorists now spend between four to five hours on a journey that should ordinarily last two hours.
