Nigeria striker, Peter Odemwingie, is poised to sign for English League One Bolton Wanderers on a short-term contract.
The attacker is a free agent and had been training with Championship club, Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer.
He held talks with Bolton manager Phil Parkinson on Wednesday and underwent medical tests on Thursday night.
Odemwingie is ready to sign until January with the option to extend until the end of the season.
The 35-year-old has had a colourful career, boasting 38 Premier League goals, playing at two World Cup finals.
Bolton Wanderers is expected to make the deal public in the coming hours.
