Hundreds of members of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo state have lent their voice to the call for the sack of the National Chairman of the party, John Odigie Oyegun.
The protesters who were armed with placards with various inscriptions, marched through major streets of Akure.
They said Oyegun must go for overruling the recommendations of the national working committee of the party which ordered for a fresh primary election in the state.
They also urged the party leadership to endorse Abraham as the APC standard bearer of the party since he was not involved in any manipulation.
Speaking on behalf of the protesters, Enas Mohammed, said Oyegun is not a blessing to the party because he lacks electoral value.
He added that Abraham remains the best choice for the party.
