Ahead of the November 26, Governorship in Ondo state, political parties have been advised to shun any act that will create unnecessary tension and crisis in the state.
The state Commissioner of Police, Hilda Ibifuro-Harrison gave the advice at a stakeholders meeting held at the Officers mess in Akure, the state capital.
He warned political parties to call their members to order, saying the command would not tolerate any act of lawlessness.
Ibifuro-Harrison also charged the leaders of the parties to sensitise their members on the need to embrace peace.
He assured the parties that the command would be fair to them by discharging its duties without being biased
