The Nigerian parliament says it is working hand in hand with the Executive arm of government to tackle the economic recession the country finds itself.
The Chairman, House committee on Financial Crimes says relief, recovery and reforms are three strategies put in place to confront the recession and ensure Nigeria wriggles out of it in no distant time.
Representative Kayode Oladele spoke on behalf of the committee when it received a delegation of Georgia legislators, in the United States of America who were on a familiarisation visit to the National Assembly.
The Committee says such bills as the Money Laundering Bill, Asset recovery Bill and the Emergency Recovery Stabilisation Bill are some of the legislative interventions that will see that Nigeria’s stolen monies and assets are recovered
