The factional National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ali Modu Sheriff says there is room for reconciliation of members of the party before the Ondo state Governorship election slated for November 26.
This is coming just as the factional Governorship candidate of the party, Jimoh Ibrahim called for the removal of INEC resident electoral commissioner, Olusegun Agbaje.
Ibrahim who led supporters of the party to welcome Sheriff at Akure Airport, said the commissioner lacks integrity to conduct election in the state.
He noted that his faction has approached the appellate court to allow him to be joined in the suit over who should be PDP standard bearer.
Sheriff on his part, urged members of the party in the state to cast their votes for Ibrahim irrespective of the ongoing crisis rocking the party.
He added that the PDP is poised to win the election, urging party members to bury their differences.
