The Visioner of Soul Winners Ministries Int’l, Cardinal James Odunmbaku has urged Nigerians to always pray for peace and love, to reign in the country.
He made the exhortation during an interdenominational prayer session organised in Lagos.
TVC News Correspondent Ola Awakan reports that the carnival-like congregation was meant to pray for the nation and Lagos State in particular.
It is the 12th Annual Interdenominational Pray For Lagos Crusade organised by the Christ Ambassadors Soul Winners Ministry International.
Host and Vice Chairman of APC in Lagos, James Odunmbaku said one of the ways to propel national development and assist the leaders in their various levels is by praying for them.
Christian and Muslim faithful at the crusade took turns to pray for President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode and the National Leader of APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Guests believe the nation needs God for a positive turn-around. They want more religious bodies to come together regardless of their denomination to pray for the nation.
It is believed that the prayers will yield a positive result for Nigeria and “it shall be called a new name”, as the theme proclaims.
