Nigeria’s revised tax policy is being assessed by stakeholders before final submission to the fiscal authorities.
The tax review committee says this follows the finance minister’s recommendation after the initial draft was presented to her.
The minister feels this will allow for a thorough preparation of the policy document to ensure all areas are covered.
The stakeholders called for adjustments to some of the twenty recommendations made by the committee to the policy document.
The tax policy document is being reviews to help make the country’s tax system more effective.
