The Senate has urged Nigeria Communications Commission, NCC, to immediately stop the planned data tariff hike until all parties are consulted.
At Wednesday’s plenary, the senate ordered its committee on Communications to ensure Nigerians are not short changed.
It also mandated the committee to investigate allegations of failure on the part of service providers.
