The Former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel has condemned the introduction of Single Treasure Account (TSA) to government financial management in the country.
Daniel who described TSA as the worst form of bureaucracy, said the system has no value on average Nigerian.
He noted that system is responsible for the slow pace of things in the country by stiffening the cash flow and putting control of spending in the hand of one man.
He faulted the idea of directors and top government functionaries waiting for the approval of government before buying stationeries and other things to run the administration.
While proffering solutions, the former Governor urged the Federal Government to set limit of expenditures for top government officials and civil servants and anybody that goes beyond the limit should be prosecuted.
