The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State has constituted a committee to reconcile aggrieved factions of the party.
This disclosure was made yesterday by Acting j
Abbas noted that the party found it necessary to set up the reconciliation committee in order to ensure unity within the members of the party across the state.
“We felt it necessary to set up the reconciliation committee because even within the Gandujiyya faction, there are factions.
“So, we have set up of the committee to bring sanity and unity to the party,” Abbas said.
The removal of the former state APC Chairman, Alhaji Haruna Doguwa, led to the party being divided into factions.
While one of the factions is with Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje, the other supports former governor of the state, Engr. Rabi’u Kwankwaso.
