Bayelsa state Governor Seriake Dickson has presented 221 billion naira as appropriation estimate for the 2017 fiscal year.
Presenting it to the state Assembly, Governor Dickson says the budget, tagged “Repositioning for Consolidation” will prepare people of the state for entrepreneurship.
84.3 billion naira was earmarked for capital expenditure and 136.9 billion naira for recurrent expenditure while the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure got the largest chunk of 26.9 billion naira.
