Nigeria’s Super Sand Eagles are through to the final of the 2016 CAF beach soccer cup of Nations at the Eko Atlantic Beach in Lagos.
The team dispatched Morocco 6-1 to book a final spot with Senegal, who defeated Egypt in the other semi final played today.
Morocco and Egypt will now contest the 3rd placed match tomorrow while Nigeria and free scoring Senegal square off in the final.
The Sand Eagles had struggled through their group, just edging Ghana 4-3 in their last group game to scale through.
But they gave home fans something to cheer as strolled through their last 4 clash against the North Africans.
Nigeria and Senegal will; now represent Africa at the FIFA Beach soccer world cup in the Bahamas next year.
