President Muhammadu Buhari says the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has in the last one year of his reign covered equivalent of 20 years achievements.
The President spoke through the Minister of Solid Minerals and Natural resources, Kayode Fayemi at the grand finale of the activities lined up to mark one year reign of Ooni Ogunwusi.
President Buhari commended efforts of the Ooni for promoting unity among Nigerians and his transformation programmes especially, youth and women empowerment.
Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra state, Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo state, Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun, traditional rulers from northern and eastern parts of the country and other dignitaries at the event praised Ooni Ogunwusi for leading by example from the throne.
The celebration was climaxed with presentation of thirty million naira cheque out of one billion naira loan for selected youths who had been trained in skill acquisition and agro-allied businesses by the House of Oodua foundation, the pet project of the Ooni of ife.
