Chairman Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Senator Sabi Abdullahi disclosed this in a short press briefing.
The legislators referred the remaining four board member nominees to its Committee on Anti-corruption for screening.
Before the executive session, Senate Majority leader Ali Ndume and Senator Dino Melaye had engaged in a war of words, over the confirmation process.
