The Inspector General Of Police, Ibrahim Idris has disclosed that no fewer than 20,000 Police Officers, will be deployed to supervise the legislative rerun in Rivers state.
The IGP also says 20 gunboats and 3 helicopters will be re-deployed to ensure smooth conduct of the election.
Idris charged Police Officers who will be posted to monitor the election, not to be selective in their provision of adequate security of lives and property in the state.
