Clergymen in Ondo state say the Nigerian government need to cushion the effects of the economic hardship experienced by Nigerians.
They gave the advice at the first church service in celebration of the new year.

for giving them the opportunity to witness the new year.
The sermon in the churches centred on how to get reward in 2017.
For these men of God who are pastors in the Redeemed Christian church of God (RCCG), the Nigerian government should address the hardship Nigerians are experiencing due to the economic recession.
They also want Nigerians to be more focused.
Some residents of Akure are hopeful that things will get better in the new year, if government can give priority to people’s welfare.
