Traditional rulers play vital roles in the maintenance of peace, the promotion of growth and development of a state and the nation at large.
Governor Seriake Dickson stated this shortly after he presented a Staff of Office to the Pere of Tarakiri Kingdom in Toru-Orua, Sagbama Council Area of Bayelsa State.
TVC News’ Ovieteme George reports that the rich “Izon” culture was on display as part of the reception for invited guests in Toru-Orua, the hometown of Governor Seriake Dickson.
Governor Dickson presented the staff of office to the Pere of Tarakiri Kingdom, Richardford Orukarebai Koroye.
