The Nnewi club walked out on the game following an order by Igwe, who felt the team were denied what would have been the equaliser just before half time.
In an official statement, the club apologized for the unprofessional manner (Igwe) took laws into his hands without due recourse to the statutes and ethics of the game”.
The club management have also apologized to the Nigeria Football Federation, the League Management Company and the Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje who was also at the Sani Abacha stadium.
