FC IfeanyiUbah have been charged for breaching the framework and rule of the NPFL following their refusal to continue with the game against Kano Pillars, which was later called off.
IfeanyiUbah staged a walkout early in the second half after they claimed their goal was wrongly disallowed by the centre referee in the first half.
The club were then handed a fine totalling 9.15 million naira and will forfeit three points and three goals from the match as well.
IfeanyiUbah’s Team Manager Jonathan Igwe was also fined N500,000 and suspended indefinitely from all league matches.
The Nnewi club have until Wednesday to appeal the sanctions.
