Bayelsa State now has a new Acting Head of Service. He is Thomas Zidafamor.
At the inauguration ceremony, Governor Seriake Dickson charged the most senior Permanent Secretary to instill professional values into the civil service and make it completely apolitical.
Governor Seriake Dickson chose the occasion to reiterate his call for the application of professionalism in the most important workforce in the state.
The Bayelsa Governor also shed more light on the “No Work – No Pay” policy launched on Wednesday the 25th of January 2017.

Thomas Zidafamor functions as Acting Head of Service for a probation period of three to six months.
