It is the tradition of Lagos State Governor , Akinwunmi Ambode to hold quarterly town hall meetings with an account rendering interactive session with the people.
On Thursday, the Governor held the first Quarter of the Town hall meeting for 2017, the 6th in its series at Akanimodo, Mile 12 area, Agboyi-Ketu local council area.
From the street filled with people, to on lookers at different house verandahs, with the field occupied and the hall filled to capacity, residents of Akanimodo, mile 12 and it environs paid attention to Governor Ambode’s briefing.
As the residents opened up, the governor took notes as usual
Aside from provision of health centers, and schools in some areas, most of the issues discussed had to do with access roads.
Ambode said already the state is embarking on the construction of 181 new roads.
