Captain of the Super Eagles, John Mikel Obi has completed his big money move to China after completing a medical on Thursday at Chinese Super League club, Tianjin TEDA.
Tianjin has offered Mikel, who has not played any match for Chelsea this season, a package worth around 173,833 Dollars per week.
The Eagles midfielder initially held talks with Spanish club, Valencia and was linked with French team, Olympique Marseille and Italian side, Inter Milan.
If he signs a deal, Mikel will become the third Chelsea player to go to the emerging, lucrative League in one year after Ramires and Oscar made similar moves.
Head Coach of Nigeria, Gernot Rohr, only on Tuesday advised Mikel to avoid a move to China, although the German said such a move would not close the national team door to the midfielder.
