Niger Tornadoes attacker, Chidiebere Ajoku has declared that his best is yet to come in the ongoing Nigerian top-flight.
Ajoku said he was happy to open his goal scoring account in a crucial match against a continental side, Wikki Tourists.
“I am happy that I scored two goals today (Wednesday) that gave us the whole three points as well as our first home victory. The two goals would not have been possible without the support of my colleagues. The hard fought victory today (Wednesday) is a collective effort and not all about me.
“I want to say the goals are signal of more goals to come in the on-going top-flight. Of course, my very best is yet to come in the top-flight as I’m determined to work harder to further improve on my performance. Our goal remains to excel beyond the height we achieved in the immediate past season. We are right now enarmoured and boosted to challenge the whole three points at champions, Enugu Rangers with the win against Wikki,” said Ajoku to supersport.com.
The hard fought victory has moved Niger Tornadoes out of the relegation zone on four points from possible 12 in the four-week old top-flight.
