The Nigeria Football Federation have denied reports it has turned down a request from CAF to host the 2017 Africa U17 cup of nations.
The Confederation of African football had last week stripped Madagascar of the right to host the championship.
NFF spokesman, Ademola Olajire confirmed that the federation received a letter from CAF requesting it to host the tournament.
And that the board will consider CAF’s request on the return of president Amaju Pinnick from Gabon.
The Africa U-17 cup of nation is scheduled to hold from April the 2nd -16th.
