The Nigeria National Petroleum Cooperation (NNPC) has unveiled 39 companies for the sale and purchase of Nigerian crude for the 2017/2018 term contract.
The 39 companies were chosen from 224 companies, who participated in an open bid.
The list released on the NNPC website, includes 18 Nigerian companies, two NNPC trading companies and a host of international companies.
Group General Manager, Crude oil marketing division of the NNPC, Mele Kyari said the contract would run for one year, effective from January the 1st, for consecutive 12 circles of crude oil allocation.
