TVC N. There has been news making rounds that The general Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church Of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has resigned and appointed a new person, Pastor Obayemi to be in charge of affairs of the ministry.
In a statement released exclusively by the church reads: ”This is sequel to the new legal requirements set up by the Financial Regulations Council, guiding all registered churches, mosques, CSOs.
They have a maximum period of twenty years to lead their organizations. In retirement, they are not permitted to hand over to their families.”
It was also revealed that, Pastor Adeboye only appointed the new man as overseer of Nigeria but he is still the General Overseer of RCCG.
And due to the law which stated that General overseers in Nigeria should retire at 70, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has decided to obey the law and appointed an overseer to be in charge of RCCG Nigeria but he will still maintain his stand as the General Overseer of the ministry worldwide.
