The Nigerian Senate has mandated its committees on Finance and Judiciary to investigate the alleged non-payment of federal judges for four months.
Deputy Leader, Senator Bala Na’Allah (APC/Kebbi South) raised the point of order at Tuesday’s plenary.
Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu referred the issue to both committees to report in one week.
Ekweremadu also asked the Judiciary and Finance Committees to ensure that the salaries are paid before Monday.
