Abia State Universal Basic Education Board has commenced Auditing and verification of all primary school
teachers in the state.
This is aimed at restoring sanity, confidence and remove ghost workers in the state Primary Education system.
The exercise has been seen as one to be taken seriously, hence the large number of teachers queuing and battling to get verified as they all came out with files containing all their documents and certificates.
The board chairman also noted that apart from fishing out those who entered the system with forged certificates, the exercise is also aimed at helping the government to identify fraudulent employees and block leakages.
