Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla has now been ruled out for the season with a long-term ankle injury.
Cazorla has not played since October due to the problem.
He was expected to be out until March, but the Spaniard suffered a setback in his recovery that caused him to require an additional operation.
Manager Arsene Wenger said last month Cazorla is far from starting to run again.
