The establishment of a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Facility at the Bayelsa Industrial Park in Gbarantoru, Yenagoa Council area will create thousands of jobs for people of the state.
This is just one of the targets of the Bayelsa state government after Deputy Governor Gboribiogha Jonah and officials of the state Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment received the officials of the company in government house, Yenagoa.
TVC’S Ovieteme George reports that State Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Investment Kemela Okara led officials of the pharmaceutical manufacturing company to the site of the Bayelsa Industrial Park in Gbarantoru.
Establishing the drugs manufacturing company at the industrial park is expected to create employment as well as shore up the revenue base of the state.
The visitors returned to government house for a brief meeting with deputy governor Gboribiogha Jonah.
The drugs manufacturing company has partners from Austria, United Kingdom and Germany.
