He was in Imo State, where he asked all contractors handling federal projects to go back to site or face prosecution.

The Vice President was in the state to brainstorm, and interact with the people to see how to proffer a lasting solution to their problems.
Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha complained that the state had been neglected.
From there the Acting president moved to Imo International Conference Centre where he addressed people from the oil-producing parts of the State.
The speakers complained about abandoned projects, and the diversion of contracts meant for Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area, to other places.
In his response,the vice president promised to address the issues with immediate effect.
