The executive committee of the Nigeria Football Federation has agreed to unanimously support its president, Amaju Pinnick, who is seeking a seat on the CAF executive committee.
There were earlier discordant tunes among the membership of the NFF board when Pinnick announced his ambition to challenge Benin Republic’s Anjorin Moucharafou for a slot on the CAF board.
The NFF has also appealed to the Federal Government to ‘see Pinnick’s quest as a Nigerian Project and give him support.’
The CAF Executive Committee polls will hold at its forthcoming 39th ordinary congress scheduled for Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
