Angry PDP youths have asked Ali Modu Sheriff to step aside and allow for a peaceful resolution of the leadership crisis rocking the party.
The youths made the demand after a peaceful protest to the party’s secretariat.
They also accuse the police of taking sides.
Ali Modu Sheriff in the past few days has held talks with some party leaders, aimed at finding a political solution to the crisis.

But the protesters say they are worried that the lingering crisis could mar the party’s chances in 2019 .
