The Portugal Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr António Pedro da Vinha and other representatives recently re-opened the Office of the Consular for Portugal in Lagos.
At the event the Ambassador re-affirmed his country’s quest to tighten the bond between Nigeria and Portugal to enable a business friendly environment inspite of the current economic recession.
The envoy also used the occasion to introduce the Newly appointed Honorary Consular in Lagos, Mr Pedro Hipolito, his duty according to Mr. Rodrigues da Silva is not only to serve the Portuguese community in Lagos or South-west Nigeria, but also to work toward strengthening the economic and trade relationship between our two countries
