The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara has warned that Nigeria’s economy may be in recession for a long time if the government does not keep to its promises.
Dogara stated this while inaugurating a sixteen-man Tactical Committee on Economic Recession in the House of Representatives.
The committee is to interface with relevant ministries, departments and agencies of government with a view to alleviating the sufferings brought about by recession.
