Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir is accusing Egypt of providing South Sudanese President Salva Kiir with weapons and ammunition.
Al-Bashir told a local newspaper in the week that his government has intelligence reports that Cairo continue to support Juba with arms and ammunition.
The accusation was not the first, as South Sudanese rebels have stated that Egypt and South Sudan have striked a “dirty deal” which would allow President Kiir to receive lethal weapons and ammunition from Egypt to wage a full-scale war against the armed opposition.
Earlier in February, the rebels accused Egypt of also dropping bombs and explosions on its bases in Kaka town.
