Acting President, Osinbajo meets Kaduna community leaders

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Friday visited Kaduna State and held a meeting with religious and community leaders in Southern Kaduna.

Tweeting after the meeting, Osinbajo stated that it was the first in a series of meetings
to hold with the community and promised to return to Kaduna to meet separately
with each group.

The Acting President, while thanking Governor Nasir El-rufai for hosting the meeting also commiserated with the families and relatives of all those who were killed in the

violence and, he appealed for calm.

Osinbajo had earlier inspected the Kaduna Airport where flights to Abuja would be rerouted to when the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport is closed for repairs on the runway.
