Barcelona head coach Luis Enrique said he “never stopped believing” during a sensational Champions League win over Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night.
Having lost the first leg 4-0, Barca had given themselves hope when they pulled it back to 4-3 on aggregate at the Nou Camp, only for Edinson Cavani to score an away goal in the 62nd minute.
Then a dramatic late comeback in the final minutes saw Neymar score twice and then Sergi Roberto snatch victory with almost the last kick of the game.
It means Barca are the first side in history to overturn a 4-0 first-leg deficit and advance in the Champions League after a thrilling finale.
Elsewhere, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored a hat-trick as Borussia Dortmund thrashed Benfica to ease into the quarter-finals 4-1 on aggregate.
Dortmund have now lost only one of their last 12 European home matches under coach Thomas Tuchel as they reached the Champions League last 8 for the first time since 2014.
