The Ekiti State Independent Electoral Commission has fixed April the 8th for the conduct of the local government by-election.
The election would hold in two wards namely, Agbado/Oyo ward 4 in Ikere Local Government and Igede Ward 3 in Irepodun / Ifelodun Local Government.
Thursday this week, has been fixed for the collection of nomination forms by candidates who qualified to contest, and for submission of lists of qualified and unqualified candidates.
The commission said it would also publish the names of Electoral Officers for persons nominated and issue Notice of Polls this week.
