Nigeria’s Super Eagles will now play the French Island of Corsica in a friendly in May ahead of the 2019 African Cup of Nation against South Africa coming up in June.
The Nigeria football federation lined up the friendly after Burkina Faso pulled out of Monday’s friendly in London.
Seven players of the stallions did not get visas to enter Britain.
The match against Corisca will also serve as part of the Eagles’ preparation for the 2018 World Cup qualifier later in August.
Nigeria have already played other national teams not recognised by FIFA – they lost 5-1 to Basque selection in 1999.
